We want to start this issue with some well-deserved words of thanks and gratitude. First, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing editor in Chief, Professor. Ahmed BaHammam, for his outstanding work in the Journal of Nature and Science Medicine. Prof. Ahmed BaHammam led the editorship of the journal from 2018 to 2020. During these years of service, he has devoted an enormous amount of time and effort, resulting in a significant improvement of this journal with an outstanding stellar reputation.
The Journal of Nature and Science Medicine currently has a very healthy copy flow. We have inherited many high-quality articles, as attested to the continued effort invested in by the outgoing Editor in Chief.
We are so grateful for his critical role in achieving the journal's scope and mission and in ensuring that we publish insightful and significant research in fields of science and clinical medicine. He has been vital in ensuring that the journal maintains its high standards and accuracy and reviewers, whose expertise and guidance have been instrumental to selecting the best articles we publish.
As incoming Editor in Chief, we are very excited and honored by our trust in leading such a high-quality journal. On this occasion, I would like to express our acknowledgment to the leadership of King Saud University and the related University councils for their advice, reviews, and acceptance of our proposal. In addition, I am deeply motivated by and appreciative to Professor Khalid Fouda (Dean of the College of Medicine) and Professor Majid Al Madi (Vice Dean and Deputy Editor-in-Chief) for giving valuable support throughout the preparation and presentation of the proposal and the process for publication of the inaugural issue. We feel bound by the journal's ethics and will strive to maintain and build upon the scientific standing it has achieved. Moreover, our mandate remains clear and unchanged: to promote excellence in scientific research and education in the field of medicine and health sciences.
